Melissa Mattingly

Marketing + Event Strategist

Melissa brings over 15 years of experience in business development, sales, event management, content creation and marketing. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from DePauw University and started her career at Visit Indy, the hub for driving convention and visitor business to Indianapolis. As the Partnership Development Manager she serviced the 700+ business partners, prospected new partners, and planned monthly networking events. From there she branched out on her own as an independent consultant specializing in content creation and digital marketing, then in 2018 she joined the team at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis to focus on growing her expertise in event management. During her time there she planned and executed over 250 events, from a little as 10 guests to as many as 2,000.

At PMG she leverages her eye for detail, marketing creativity and passion for the written story to boost brand awareness. She lives behind-the-scenes so her clients can shine up front.

Outside of work you can find Melissa reading (been in a monthly book club since 2009), taking long catch-up walks with friends, traveling to anywhere with a beach, on the baseball diamond watching her son, shopping with her 2 daughters, planning the next DIY home project with her husband – or of course – party planning.
