PMG was proud to support this year’s 95th National FFA Convention + Expo. One of Indianapolis’ largest annual conventions with 70,000+ attendees, National FFA is focused on growing the next generation of leaders in agriculture. Convention week allows FFA members to explore the various pathways for their future, learn new things, and engage with other members. PMG helped National FFA with on-site social media content creation + management, crisis communications, PR, media training, monitoring + tracking, influencer marketing + management, and event execution.

From the time PMG took over the National FFA social media channels to the conclusion of the convention, Instagram impressions increased 93.6%, profile engagement increased 53.6%, and profile views increased over 420%. National FFA’s Facebook account received 2,761,569 impressions throughout the week, and profile engagement increased by 202.6% in comparison to the week prior. Engagement growth was seen on LinkedIn and Twitter as well.

This award recognizes our ability to support engaging and impactful large events, creating a memorable experience for attendees and exceeding expectations of our clients. PMG is proud to continue supporting FFA in 2023.

He Knows Your Name is a ministry that strives to ensure that every child receives a name in life and dignity and honor in death. Pence Media Group (PMG) utilized our PR skills to plan two separate events: a funeral and graveside service in February honoring the lives of seven unclaimed babies in the Indianapolis area, and a press conference and celebration of life for more than 173 people in September.

For the first event, PMG provided He Knows Your Name with press releases, media talking points, agendas, a map of the premises, and on-site event photography. Later in the year, He Knows Your Name claimed 173 unclaimed cremated remains under Indiana law to honor their lives with a proper burial with the help of the Marion County Chief Deputy Coroner.

Between the two events, we secured 47 earned media hits on broadcast, print, and digital platforms from across Indiana to help tell this powerful story and reach new audiences with the organization’s mission. PMG created press releases, media advisories, drafted talking points, and conducted media training, monitoring, and reporting for each event which called attention to a national issue that many were unfamiliar with.

The events garnered more than $125K in estimated ad value, excluding broadcast coverage value for this non-profit organization.

Indy Night Nanny is a group of skilled, overnight nannies specializing in helping babies sleep all night. PMG has managed the social media accounts for Indy Night Nanny for more than a year. This allowed our team to analyze social media growth throughout 2022 and compare those numbers to the client’s social media success in 2021.

Through a consistent content strategy, the year over year numbers for Indy Night Nanny’s social media reflect massive increase in all social media metrics. To highlight a few:

  • INN’s Facebook engagement increased by 977.6% in the year 2022
  • INN gained 189 Instagram followers within the year
  • INN reached over 60,000 more accounts between Facebook and Instagram in comparison to 2021

With social media trends and best practices evolving daily, PMG chose to alter INN’s content strategy in the fall of 2022. The addition of Instagram reels into this client’s social strategy played a huge role in the platform’s success. Through PMG’s efforts, INN was able to educate the public about their services and increase revenue for INN by 25% in 2022.

Sugar Factory Indianapolis hosted its VIP Grand Opening Party with a special DJ performance from Nick Cannon, a multi-faceted entertainer and television personality. Sugar Factory came to PMG with a plan to open this new location and a need for someone to tell its story through media pitching, segment production, media relations, influencer collaborations, event planning and execution.

PMG gathered professional photos and videos throughout the event to commemorate the celebration. Our talented vendor partners were able to edit these assets in less than 12 hours to produce an event highlight video for social media, a gallery of photos, and even a behind-the-scenes Instagram Reel. These evergreen assets were used for social media, PR, community outreach and will continue to be used for years to come. In total, PMG secured media that garnered 2,331,965 in unpaid influencer reach, 38 media hits spread across ALL local media platforms + national coverage. The unpaid media hits amounted to $6,340,676.01 AVE YTD, not including broadcast media coverage.

This PMG-executed event was a huge success, bringing together VIP guests, influencers, local community members, media teams, and more to celebrate a fun, photo-worthy, new dining experience in Indianapolis.

PMG was thrilled to provide our services pro bono with Women for Riley, a philanthropic group within Riley Children’s Foundation, to produce an exciting video project for Riley Hospital for Children’s patients, families, staff, and community members.

Every year, the hospital hosts Riley Prom where the patients and families can come together to celebrate and their illness takes a backseat to FUN. However, due to the pandemic, Women for Riley had to revamp the in-person celebration into a virtual prom that brought the magic to the patient rooms. The reimagined event was a circus-themed, interactive experience called “Prom in a Box” that was accompanied by a 60-minute circus themed TV show written and produced by PMG.

PMG collaborated with Women for Riley to create this professional video that debuted on Prom Day, including interviews, local features, and many eye-catching activities to be enjoyed “Under the Big Top”. PMG’s own Nicole Pence Becker was the host of this year’s fun-filled video, acting as the Ringmaster for virtual Prom and PMG communication strategist Andrea Kleymeyer led the charge as producer. Both Andrea and Nicole are proud members of Women for Riley as well.  The event was a huge success delivering 125 boxes to patients at two hospital locations and the video ran throughout the hospital’s TV station and was accessible through YouTube.

Pence Media Group is honored to be recognized through this award for our ability to create an engaging, fun video for one of Indianapolis’ most special nonprofits.

Church Church Hittle + Antrim (CCHA) is the oldest law firm in Hamilton County and has been working with PMG for nearly five years. PMG continued to elevate their brand in 2022 by producing professional evergreen video + photo assets to showcase CCHA attorneys as relatable, professional, and helpful.

This brand video showcases the fantastic work CCHA’s attorneys and staff do for their clients, which then further elevates their business by establishing itself in the industry and having better engagement within their beloved community. This video is showcased on their website, used on social media platforms and shown to their prospective clients. Wright’s Gymnastics owner, Casey Wright, developed NinjaZone as the first ninja gymnastics program in the country in 2015, which has grown into a globally-recognized company and has licensed more than 300 programs around the world. As the fastest growing youth activity, NinjaZone builds strong and confident kids, in a sport with no benches.

NinjaZone engaged PMG in creating an evergreen brochure to educate more business owners about how to start their own NinjaZone programs. The target audience for the brochures was people who owned gyms and YMCAs. The information in the brochure needed to explain the timeline it would take for a business owner to implement the program and start generating revenue, benefits of being a licensed NinjaZone program, such as curated curriculum content, as well as information about how to get started with next steps and a call to action. The brochure also needed to have compelling imagery and be consistent with the current NinjaZone branding guidelines.

With those goals in mind, PMG created an eight-page brochure for NinjaZone to encourage gym owners to “Level Up [Their] Business!” Once printed, the brochures were presented at a conference and as a result, 12 meetings were scheduled with YMCA owners who were interested in starting their own programs and are continuing to be used as a marketing asset.

PMG managed earned media coordination, on-site media relations, event VIP interviews and live social media execution at the second annual Tee Off for Tyler Charity Golf Classic. The Tyler Trent Foundation was established in 2019 with the Hamilton County Community Foundation. Since then, the foundation has been working alongside so many who knew and loved Tyler with a goal of continuing Tyler’s efforts through several initiatives to work towards eradicating childhood cancer.

PMG helped support PR efforts leading up to the event, as well as the day of the event, securing media coverage from broadcast and newspaper outlets across Indiana. A sports talk radio show broadcast live for several hours from the event, incorporating interviews from sports celebrities, as well as the Trent family.

Engagement from the celebrity participation, as well as PMG’s media outreach efforts, assisted the second annual event in raising more than $100,000 to support pediatric cancer research. All of the golfing spots were also sold out before the event started.

Pluie is the world’s first and only self-sanitizing diaper changing table for public restrooms. Powered by patented UV-C light technology known to kill 99.9% of germs including influenza and coronavirus, the entire changing surface is sanitized in just 60 seconds after every use.

Pluie initially engaged Pence Media Group (PMG) in August of 2021 to help create a holistic marketing, communications, and PR strategy to establish brand recognition and increase sales revenue. Since then PMG has continued to support Pluie in social media management, evergreen asset creation, and PR efforts.

In March of 2022, Pluie was featured on Good Morning America where mompreneurs and founders Addie Gundry and Brittany Hizer were able to share the product’s origin story and value proposition to a national audience with journalist Eva Pilgrim. For the segment PMG provided press releases, media talking points, on-brand lifestyle photography, and b-roll created earlier in the year at a PMG production shoot.

The positive media coverage PMG earned Pluie equated to nearly $3 million in AVE in 2022, excluding broadcast coverage value.

Fletcher Place Community Center (FPCC) was founded in 1872 as a center for outreach on the south side of downtown Indianapolis where it began by serving meals to immigrants arriving in Indianapolis by train. Since then, it has continued to serve millions of Hoosiers through its mission to break the cycle of poverty and evolved its services to fit the community’s needs, including the development of an early learning pre-K program.

2022 marked 150 years of FPCC’s service to the community and this milestone achievement is one that warranted being celebrated with an event and commemorated through bold funding initiatives.

FPCC leadership connected with PMG in spring 2022 to create a strategic plan that involved:

  • Strategic event planning and execution
  • Sponsorship and fundraising strategy and outreach
  • Marketing asset creation (invitations, sponsorship materials, digital graphics, etc.)
  • Storytelling through video and photo production
  • Public relations strategy, outreach and on-site media support

PMG pitched the local media regarding the FPCC’s 150 year milestone and the celebration that was planned to support its fundraising efforts.s a result, FPCC was featured across multiple media outlets including WTHR, WFYI and Fox59’s Indy Now. Three of PMG’s team members attended the event and PMG owner Nicole Pence Becker served as emcee.

The event strategy and preparation paid off when it came time for the big day at the Indiana State Museum. The FPCC team shattered their original goal of raising $150,000 for the 150th year and raised $225,000.
