The MUSE Creative Awards is a part of the MUSE Awards Program, which was created by the International Awards Associate (IAA) in 2015. IAA’s inception was based on a mission to honor, promote and encourage creativity by providing a new standard of excellence for evaluating media design production and distribution. At its core, MUSE Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals who inspire others to greater heights. With their concepts, ideas or designs, these creatives light a fire in others to strive further, thus becoming a muse.

Pence Media Group was established in 2017 by Nicole Pence Becker to give women with rare and valuable skill sets an opportunity to showcase their talents in a flexible work environment. Here are our 2022 highlights that led PMG to becoming a gold winning best small agency of the year:

  • Won Telly Awards in three Branded Content Campaigns. A silver and bronze award for Pluie’s Brand Overview and a bronze award for the DL Lowry Difference.
  • Led the grand opening for Indianapolis’ first Sugar Factory, with celebrity Nick Cannon.
  • Landed the pitch for our client Pluie to appear on Good Morning America. The segment was supported by PMG created on-brand product lifestyle photography and b-roll.
  • Supported the 95th Annual National FFA Convention of nearly 70,000 attendees. With PMG’s social media help, their Instagram impressions increased 93.6% and profile views increased 420%.
  • Provided pro bono services to several nonprofit organizations including Women for Riley, Tyler Trent Foundation, Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, Make-A-Wish, Grit + Grace Nation, and Our Lady Mount Carmel. We are always looking to give back!
  • Led the market openings of Indiana’s first three sweetgreen restaurants. Our Influencer Engagement Strategy reached more than 1,387,800 followers.
  • Two of our projects were recognized with an “Award of Honor” at the Hoosier PRSA Pinnacle Awards.
  • Led creative and execution of 12+ Production Shoots to secure evergreen video + photo assets for our clients.
  • Helped grow client revenue, including a 11% year over year increase for DL Lowry Hair Salon.
  • Proudly welcomed four new team members to better serve our growing client roster.

95th Annual National FFA Convention + Expo



PMG was proud to support this year’s 95th National FFA Convention + Expo. One of Indianapolis’ largest annual conventions with 70,000+ attendees, National FFA is focused on growing the next generation of leaders in agriculture. Convention week allows FFA members to explore the various pathways for their future, learn new things, and engage with other members. PMG supported National FFA with strategic communications planning, on-site media content creation + management, crisis communications, PR, media training, monitoring + tracking, influencer marketing + management, and event execution.

From the time PMG took over the National FFA social media channels to the conclusion of the convention, Instagram impressions increased 93.6%, profile engagement increased 53.6%, and profile views increased over 420%. National FFA’s Facebook account received 2,761,569 impressions throughout the week, and profile engagement increased by 202.6% in comparison to the week prior. Engagement growth was seen on LinkedIn and Twitter as well. 

Upon engaging in FFA’s Influencer Marketing initiative, our team strategically analyzed our community of local and national influencers. One of our influencer’s (Tyler Froberg) content pieces that PMG helped produce during the convention had over 1M views on TikTok.

Sugar Factory Indianapolis Grand Opening


Sugar Factory Indianapolis hosted its VIP Grand Opening Party with a special DJ performance from Nick Cannon, a multi-faceted entertainer and television personality. Guests enjoyed Sugar Factory’s signature eats, treats, and drinks, including the Big Cloud Goblet, which was designed and enjoyed by Nick Cannon. Local celebrities including IndyCar driver Conor Daly, HGTV Good Bones’ star Mina Starsiak Hawk and MasterChef winner Kelsey Murphy were also in attendance and joined the celebratory event.

Sugar Factory came to PMG with a plan to open this new location and a need for someone to tell its story through media pitching, segment production, media relations, influencer collaborations, event planning and execution. PMG tapped into our strong network to engage reporters, influencers, and potential new customers in the region.

PMG gathered professional photos and videos throughout the event to commemorate the celebration. Our talented vendor partners were able to edit these assets in less than 12 hours to produce an event highlight video for social media, a gallery of photos, and even a behind-the-scenes Instagram Reel. These evergreen assets were used for social media, PR, and community outreach and will continue to be used for years to come. In total, PMG secured media that garnered 2,331,965 in unpaid influencer reach, 38 media hits spread across ALL local media platforms + national coverage. The unpaid media hits amounted to $6,340,676.01 AVE YTD, not including broadcast media coverage.

PMG also built out a detailed outreach strategy to invite guests to the Instagrammable grand opening event, including creating informative graphics, and reaching out to invite each influencer personally. As a result, the total VIP guest follower reach on Instagram alone was more than 1.2 million followers. PMG also created an influencer content recap document for the client to easily view all of the publicity they received from PMG’s influencer engagement tactics. 

This PMG-executed event was a huge success, bringing together VIP guests, influencers, local community members, media teams, and more to celebrate a fun, photo-worthy, new dining experience in our city.

Riley Children’s Hospital Virtual Prom


PMG was thrilled to provide our services pro bono with Women for Riley, a philanthropic group within Riley Children’s Foundation, to produce an exciting video project for Riley Hospital for children patients, families, staff, and community members.

Every year, the hospital hosts Riley Prom where the patients and families can come together to celebrate and their illness takes a backseat to FUN. However, due to the pandemic, Women for Riley had to revamp the in-person celebration into a virtual prom that brought the magic to the patient rooms. The reimagined event was a circus-themed, interactive experience called “Prom in a Box” that was accompanied by a 60-minute circus themed TV show written and produced by PMG.

PMG collaborated with Women for Riley to create this professional video that debuted on Prom Day, including interviews, local features, and many eye-catching activities to be enjoyed “Under the Big Top”. PMG’s own Nicole Pence Becker was the host of this year’s fun-filled video, acting as the Ringmaster for virtual Prom and PMG communication strategist Andrea Kleymeyer led the charge as producer. Both Andrea and Nicole are proud members of Women for Riley as well.  The event was a huge success delivering 125 boxes to patients at two hospital locations and the video ran throughout the hospital’s TV station and was accessible through YouTube.

Kids 360º Early Learning Academy 


With movement at its core, Kids 360° Early Learning Academy is a first-of-its-kind preschool that offers an expansive, state-of-the-art learning environment designed to facilitate optimal learning for the whole child. PMG helped to create and elevate the Kids 360° Early Learning Academy brand by:

With a budget of under 5k, the PMG production shoot captured hundreds of evergreen assets that could be utilized across the Kids 360° ‘s digital platforms, print ads, marketing materials, packaging, and paid + earned media.

Kids 360° launched in fall of 2022 and their enrollment numbers were reached due in large part to their well-received brand marketing assets PMG created. As of December 31, 2022, the AVE for all media coverage earned thanks to PMG’s efforts for Kids 360° Early Learning Academy was $208,373.92.
