Pluie + Pence Media Group
Pluie is the world’s first and only self-sanitizing diaper changing table for public restrooms. Two years ago, the Pluie team approached PMG for help in marketing + public relations and since our partnership began, Pluie changing tables have been installed all across the United States. In order to properly share the Pluie story, we first helped establish their brand. Once the proper parts were in place, the rest of the world quickly learned about Pluie through several earned media hits and appearances that our team helped garner. Both nationally and locally, 2023 in particular has been a pivotal year for the Pluie and Pence Media Group teams, so we are proud to share our successes in this well-deserved client spotlight blog for Pluie.
Brand Development + Production Shoot
PMG loves helping businesses, both new and established, build their brands and tell their story. Pence Media Group worked hard to update the Pluie brand. Our team had the honor of creating a new mission and unique value proposition statements. PMG fully updated the Pluie brand guidelines to ensure clarity for the brand across all their digital assets.
From there, we executed a PMG Production Shoot to capture evergreen assets that help tell the Pluie story. We partnered with videographer, Michael Durr, and photographer, Ashley Wittmer, to create a brand video and take photos for use in marketing efforts including social media and earned media opportunities.

Public Relations Strategy + Execution
At PMG, we love securing strategic PR wins for our clients nationally and locally. With the innovative, first-of-its-kind product that Pluie is, it made for a unique and exciting pitch to share with the media at both the national and local levels. Over the years we’ve earned approximately 10 million dollars for the Pluie brand according to our estimated advertising software.
One of our big wins came in 2022 when Good Morning America featured Pluie co-founders Addie Gundry and Brittany Hizer on a story with journalist Eva Pilgrim. The story highlighted how the two moms created Pluie. Once PMG landed the pitch, the segment was supported by on-brand product lifestyle photography and b-roll that was created during the production shoot earlier that same year.

Then in the Spring of 2023, Pluie had the opportunity to share its entrepreneurial story with four million viewers on ABC’s Shark Tank. When Pluie’s episode aired, it shined a national spotlight on the need for a cleaner public restroom diaper changing experience for babies, parents and caregivers across the US.

PMG was thrilled to see our Telly Award–winning PMG-produced assets displayed in front of the sharks as Pluie Founder + CEO Addie Gundry and Co-Founder + COO Brittany Hizer introduced Pluie’s game-changing product to the world.
The episode recently appeared in the rerun this summer which garnered even more attention for the Pluie product + team.
When the Indianapolis International Airport made the decision to install 50 Pluie changing tables in the Nursing Mothers Lounges and the men’s, women’s and family restrooms, Pluie was featured across multiple local and national media outlets. The Indianapolis International Airport was among the first airports certified with Airports Council International’s (ACI) Airport Health Accreditation, and Pluie’s mission to provide a clean, comfortable, convenient guest experience for all families on the go aligns perfectly with the airport’s continued commitment to improving the health, safety, and comfort of the terminal.
Pence Media Group was on-site at the Indianapolis International Airport to provide media support for the day of the grand installation. The partnership made the Indianapolis airport the largest single footprint public facility in the U.S. to be outfitted with Pluie changing tables!
