Client Success Snapshot: He Knows Your Name

Client Spotlight Feature / Public Relations

He Knows Your Name + Pence Media Group

This spring, PMG was proud to support a major event hosted by He Knows Your Name ministry (HKYN) in partnership with the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office: “A Conversation About the Fox Hollow Crime.”

The public event, held during National Crime Victims’ Rights Awareness Week, featured both a prayer vigil and panel discussion, bringing together community members, advocates, and officials to honor crime victims and raise awareness about ongoing identification efforts. The panel included:

  • Linda Znachko, HKYN Founder
  • Jeff Jellison, Hamilton County Coroner
  • Eva Pilgrim, National True Crime Journalist + Host of Inside Edition
  • Matthew Pranger, cousin of Allen Livingston, a Fox Hollow victim
  • Jennie Runevitch (Moderator), WTHR anchor + reporter

The event, which welcomed more than 400 attendees, served as a meaningful opportunity to honor all crime victims while educating the public about how community involvement can support ongoing investigations and identification efforts.

PMG worked closely with the HKYN team to execute a comprehensive communications strategy, including:

  • PUBLIC RELATIONS + MEDIA RELATIONS
  • ON-SITE SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
  • ASSET CAPTURING + CONTENT CREATION

Public Relations + Media Relations

PMG led Public Relations strategy and media outreach to garner coverage of the ‘A Conversation About the Fox Hollow Crime’ event and generate awareness for He Knows Your Name and developments in the notorious Fox Hollow case. This strategy included the development and delivery of a media advisory, as well as on-site media management.

PMG’s public relations efforts resulted in meaningful media coverage, including placements in IndyStar (shared on Yahoo News), WTHR 13, Hamilton County Reporter, NewsNation and more.

On-Site Social Media Management

PMG led a social media takeover strategy for HKYN, which included drafted captions, hashtags, and accounts to tag for each post, story and reel. Content was planned for pre-event, on-site, and post-event sharing, and PMG captured all assets on-site throughout the duration of the event. This allowed the HKYN team to be fully present during the event knowing that content was prepared by PMG ahead of time.

  • PMG captured + shared 30 stories, posted to HKYN Instagram + Facebook
    • 62 total story likes, 2 story replies
    • Most views on a single story: 1,742
    • Views +58% between April 22-23
    • 35 follows on April 22
  • PMG also supported live-streaming on HKYN’s Instagram, Facebook and TikTok throughout both portions of the event

PMG was proud to share behind-the-scenes and on-site access across HKYN’s social media profiles to ensure individuals who were not able to attend in-person could still participate in the event. Through strategic efforts with the media and social media, the public was better informed about the Fox Hollow case and the importance of providing DNA samples to help identify loved ones in the community.

Asset Capturing + Content Creation

Throughout the event, PMG captured photos, b-roll content, panel soundbites, and 1:1 interviews with Linda Znachko, Jeff Jellison and Eva Pilgrim, turning it into impactful content for social media and earned media use, including:

The event highlighted the partnership between HKYN and the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office and emphasized the critical need for individuals to come forward and provide DNA samples. These contributions can help identify missing persons and provide long-awaited answers to families seeking closure.

PMG was proud to support this important event and the crucial work HKYN leads across Indiana.

Hiring Pence Media Group was one of the best decisions I could have made. Time and again, they have taken my vision for an event to support Jeff Jellison and his investigation of the Fox Hollow case and elevated it beyond anything I could have imagined. I was especially grateful for Nicole Pence and her incredible networking skills, which helped bring Eva Pilgrim to join our panel discussion.

As the host organization, He Knows Your Name envisioned gathering approximately 75 community members to hear the discussion, raise awareness, and learn about the importance of expanding the DNA database. We believed it would be a meaningful evening.

What happened exceeded all of our expectations.

More than 400 people attended. It was standing room only, with people sitting on the floor and filling every available space. Families connected to the Fox Hollow victims joined us, honoring their loved ones during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. The energy in the room reflected a community that deeply cares about justice, remembrance, and bringing answers to families who have waited far too long.

The evening was a tremendous success. More importantly, it demonstrated what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose—to remember the victims, support the investigation, and help bring names back to those who have been unidentified for far too long.
