Event Support for the 25th Anniversary of the Safe Haven Law

This fall, PMG was proud to help execute the 25th Anniversary of the Safe Haven Law celebration on November 18, 2025, which was hosted by He Knows Your Name ministry (HKYN). The Safe Haven Law provides a critical option for distressed birth parents to lawfully and anonymously surrender their baby, through Safe Haven Baby Boxes or a hand-off to trusted emergency medical service providers, and opens the door to adoption.

LInda Znachko and the ministry are rooted in the conviction that every life is sacred to God. He Knows Your Name recently held a public funeral at Washington Park East Cemetery for the baby girl who was found abandoned and deceased in Brookside Park on September 1. The baby girl, whom Znachko claimed and named Haven Grace Hope, was the first baby to be found abandoned and deceased in Indiana in over 10 years.

He Knows Your Name engaged PMG to create, manage and execute a strategic communications plan that included:

Event Planning + Speaker Support

PMG prepared remarks for the event’s honored guests, which were all aligned with the mission of spreading awareness and encouraging further education around the Safe Haven Law. The honored guests included:

• Governor Mike Braun
• Speaker of the House Todd Huston
• President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray
• Marion County Coroner Alfie McGinty
• Brandi Koie, a mother who adopted through the Indiana Safe Haven Law

Through individualized pitches to local media and inviting them to the event, PMG directly impacted more than 15 articles and 11 broadcast/radio clips around the event with an audience reach of more than 401 million and ad value equivalency (AVE) of more than $3.72 million. PMG worked with HKYN to facilitate on-site interviews at the Statehouse, a virtual radio interview, and on-site interview with Mirror Indy at Washington Park East Cemetery, where Baby Haven is laid to rest.

Social Media Management

PMG led a social media takeover strategy for HKYN, which included drafted captions, hashtags, and accounts to tag for each post, story and reel. Content was planned for pre-event, on-site, and post-event sharing, and PMG captured all assets on-site throughout the duration of the event. This allowed the HKYN team to be fully present during the event knowing that content was prepared by PMG ahead of time.

The post-event reel and static posts created by PMG garnered:

• 12,091+ total views
• 142+ total interactions
• 14+ total profile taps
• 1 hour 20 minutes total watch time
• Total reach increased by over 6.6% when compared to the previous week

PMG shared 33 stories throughout the event, garnering:

• 5,176+ total views
• 161+ total interactions
• 9+ profile taps
• Profile visits increased by 31.7%
• Profile activity increased by 30.3%

PMG was proud to partner with He Knows Your Name for this impactful event celebration of the Safe Haven Law. Through strategic efforts with the media and social media, education was further spread about the law and its critical importance for women in crises.
