Nicole Pence Becker is the owner and operator of Pence Media Group (PMG), an award-winning public relations, branding, and marketing consultancy known for delivering clarity, strategy, and results through its operating mantra: Consider It Done. A strategic communications expert with nearly 20 years of experience across journalism, brand storytelling, executive positioning, and integrated marketing, Nicole has built PMG into a trusted partner for corporations, nonprofits, and public sector organizations nationwide.
Before launching PMG in 2017, Nicole earned distinction as an Emmy Award–winning broadcast journalist, recognized for her clarity, credibility, and ability to connect with audiences.
Under Nicole’s leadership, PMG has grown into a dynamic, full-service consultancy and a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) in the state of Indiana. The firm has earned multiple national honors, including the MUSE Creative Gold Award for Best Small Agency of the Year and recognition as one of PR Daily’s Top Agencies.
Nicole’s leadership philosophy centers on helping people and organizations succeed, grow, and thrive. A proud Hoosier who grew up in Columbus, Nicole graduated cum laude from DePauw University, where she was named Young Alumni of the Year in 2020. She later earned a Master’s in Public Affairs from SPEA at IUPUI, graduating with academic honors.
Beyond her work with PMG, Nicole is a committed volunteer who donates her time and talents to dozens of nonprofit events each year as an emcee and keynote speaker. She is a passionate advocate for Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, Riley Children’s Foundation and Breakthrough T1D, an organization close to her heart as one of her sons lives with Type 1 Diabetes. Raising awareness, advancing research, and supporting families affected by T1D is a deeply personal mission for Nicole and her family.
Nicole is most proud of her husband Jason and their four sons, who inspire her daily and remind her to lead with heart, purpose, and integrity.
