Nicole Griffin has spent the last 12 years as a broadcast journalist, serving as a trusted voice for the community she calls home. A familiar face to Indianapolis viewers, Griffin joins Pence Media Group as a PR + Video Storyteller Strategist following a nine-year tenure at WRTV. Most recently, she served five years as the station’s evening anchor, leading the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. broadcasts with a commitment to clarity and community connection.
Griffin is an Emmy award-winning journalist and a highly skilled videographer, editor and writer with a proven track record in enterprise storytelling. Her time at WRTV gave her a front-row seat to Indiana’s biggest moments. Griffin led coverage for high-profile events ranging from the Indianapolis 500 and the NBA All-Star Game to the Indiana Pacers’ NBA Finals run and the transformational impact of Caitlin Clark joining the Indiana Fever. While she has anchored major headlines, Griffin finds the most fulfillment in the field, camera in hand, sharing the stories of Hoosiers working to make a difference.

A lifelong Hoosier, Griffin grew up on the west side of Indianapolis and is a proud graduate of Ben Davis High School. She honed her craft at Ball State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications and journalism while also representing the Cardinals as a cheerleader. After beginning her career in Lincoln, Nebraska, she and her husband, Chris, returned home to Indiana in 2017 to be closer to family. Now residents of Brownsburg, they enjoy the best of the “Hoosier State,” from live music and grilling to sunny weekends floating on Raccoon Lake. An avid sports fan, Griffin remains one of the biggest cheerleaders for the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers.
