This fall, PMG was proud to help execute the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo for the fourth year in a row. National FFA is home to nearly 1 million members across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands and is focused on growing the next generation of leaders who will change the world.
For the week of convention, more than 73,000 members gathered in downtown Indianapolis to explore careers in agriculture, discover pathways for their future, learn, and engage with universities, agribusiness leaders, and other students from across the nation.
National FFA engaged PMG to create, manage and execute a strategic marketing and communications plan that included:

National FFA Public Relations
PMG’s efforts alongside the National FFA PR team resulted in a total of 10,375 articles and 4,102 broadcast clips across 49 states adding up to an AVE total of $384.66 million. We worked with National FFA to place op-eds, arranged in-studio segments and on-site interviews, and placed leadership on podcasts and radio segments as well.
Show Production + Intern Management
Our team helped develop and produce the stream content from the studio from concept to creation and took on the role of managing the newsroom, story packages, hosts and intern reporters. The stream generated 150,000 views, representing 750,000+ viewers!
To bring the stream to life, we connected with top journalism schools to recruit standout student reporters, trained them ahead of time, and managed them onsite just like a real newsroom. Thanks to our team’s deep background in broadcast journalism, we were able to guide their reporting and elevate content creation throughout the week.

- 34 reporter story packages
- 136 edit award winner interviews
- 10 pre-recorded newsroom interviews

Crisis Communications Planning + Support
When tens of thousands of people come together, unpredictability is always a factor. Knowing that more than 73,000 students would attend sessions to hear from different speakers, concerts, rodeos, and a wide range of learning experiences, FFA’s leadership ensured a strong crisis communications plan, along with the right PR team, was ready to support the event.
PMG strengthened FFA’s crisis readiness by updating the crisis communications plan and providing continuous media monitoring at convention. Our PR team, experienced in identifying and managing emerging issues, conducted reviews four times daily and maintained regular check-ins with the social team to ensure alignment and rapid response capability.
