Since 1979, The Telly Awards has showcased the best work created within television and across video, for all screens, from around the world and the mission of this year’s 44th Annual Telly Awards was “To showcase creativity on all screens that breaks through the static of homogeneity and perhaps even breaks some molds along the way.” Receiving over 13,000 entries, PMG is honored to be a part of the winner’s circle for our creativity, ingenuity + hard work.

Women for Riley | Riley Children’s Hospital Virtual Prom
SILVER WINNER: NON-BROADCAST – CHILDREN
BRONZE WINNER: NON-BROADCAST – CHARITABLE
PMG was thrilled to provide our services pro bono with Women for Riley, a philanthropic group within Riley Children’s Foundation, to produce an exciting video project for Riley Hospital for Children’s patients, families, staff, and community members.
Every year, the hospital hosts Riley Prom, where the patients and families can come together to celebrate and their illness takes a backseat to FUN. However, due to the pandemic, Women for Riley had to revamp the in-person celebration into a virtual prom that brought the magic to the patient rooms. The reimagined event was a circus-themed, interactive experience called “Prom in a Box” that was accompanied by a 60-minute circus themed TV show written and produced by PMG.
PMG collaborated with Women for Riley and preferred videographer Michael Durr to create this professional video that debuted on Prom Day, including interviews, local features, and many eye-catching activities to be enjoyed “Under the Big Top”. PMG’s own Nicole Pence Becker was the host of this year’s fun-filled video, acting as the Ringmaster for virtual Prom and PMG communication strategist Andrea Kleymeyer led the charge as producer. Both Andrea and Nicole are proud members of Women for Riley as well. The event was a huge success delivering 125 boxes to patients at two hospital locations and the video ran throughout the hospital’s TV station and was accessible through YouTube.
Pence Media Group is honored to be recognized through this award for our ability to create an engaging, fun video for one of Indianapolis’ most special nonprofits.
Gleaners Food Bank of America
SILVER WINNER: BRANDED CONTENT CAMPAIGN – NOT-FOR-PROFIT
PMG was honored to donate the Mission Moment video for Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana. Serving 21 counties across central and southern Indiana and operating the state’s largest food pantry, Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana has led the fight against hunger in Indiana since 1980.
With the help of Kirgis Creative Co., PMG produced the Mission Moment video that showcased Gleaners’ mission and the fantastic work the volunteers at Gleaners do for their community. This video made its public debut at Gleaners’ Wine, Women & Shoes charity event.
Since its inaugural event in 2014, Wine Women & Shoes has raised funds to provide more than 7.8 million meals for Hoosier children who may face food insecurity. This “party with a purpose” benefits Gleaners’ youth-serving programs, including school pantries, Summer Meals for Kids, Nutrition Club activities, and family meal boxes. PMG’s own Nicole Pence Becker also spoke during the special Wine Women & Shoes event to introduce the video PMG was proud to donate.
Church Church Hittle + Antrim
SILVER WINNER: BRANDED CONTENT – PROMOTIONAL
Church Church Hittle + Antrim (CCHA) is the oldest law firm in Hamilton County and has been working with PMG for nearly five years. PMG continued to elevate their brand in 2022 by producing professional evergreen video + photo assets to showcase CCHA attorneys as relatable, professional, and helpful.
PMG collaborated with trusted videographer, Michael Durr, to create a brand video that showcases the fantastic work CCHA’s attorneys and staff do for their clients, which then further elevates their business by establishing itself in the industry and having better engagement within their beloved community. This video is showcased on their website, used on social media platforms and shown to their prospective clients. As of December 31, 2022, the AVE for all media coverage earned for CCHA is $287,934.21 (not including broadcast coverage), thanks in part to our audio/video production efforts.
In addition to audiovisual assets, Pence Media Group has also supported CCHA with other marketing, communications and PR initiatives such as niche content creation, employee engagement, social media management + execution, internal communications, and grassroots marketing.
Sugar Factory Indianapolis Grand Opening
SILVER WINNER: SOCIAL VIDEO – INFLUENCER + CELEBRITY
Sugar Factory Indianapolis hosted its VIP Grand Opening Party with a special DJ performance from Nick Cannon, a multi-faceted entertainer and television personality. Sugar Factory came to PMG with a plan to open this new location and a need for someone to tell its story through media pitching, segment production, media relations, influencer collaborations, event planning and execution.
PMG gathered professional photos and videos throughout the event to commemorate the celebration. Our talented photography and videography partners, Michael Durr + Robby Berry, were able to edit these assets in less than 12 hours to produce an event highlight video for social media, a gallery of photos, and even a behind-the-scenes Instagram Reel. These evergreen assets were used for social media, PR, community outreach and will continue to be used for years to come. In total, PMG secured media that garnered 2,331,965 in unpaid influencer reach, 38 media hits spread across ALL local media platforms + national coverage. The unpaid media hits amounted to $6,340,676.01 AVE YTD, not including broadcast media coverage.
This PMG-executed event was a huge success, bringing together VIP guests, influencers, local community members, media teams, and more to celebrate a fun, photo-worthy, new dining experience in Indianapolis.
Crystal Signature Events | The Crane Bay Event Center
SILVER WINNER: SOCIAL VIDEO – DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER
Since 1977, Crystal Signature Events, formerly known as Crystal Catering, has led Indianapolis in elevating culinary experiences and executing premier events. PMG developed Crystal’s new brand as Crystal Signature Events and continues to support them and their three distinctive downtown event venues in branding, social media, event execution, grassroots marketing, PR, advertising, and photo + video production.
One Crystal Signature Event venue, The Crane Bay Event Center, needed a wow-worthy video that could be strategically implemented across multiple platforms to elevate their brand and promote the space in a way that showcases the detail and precision Crystal gives to each and every single event. The result led to the creative vision of using a drone to fly through the venue capturing an event being set-up in perfect harmony. The fun video was shot by 2018 world champion drone pilot Paul Nurkkala and edited by Michael Durr. Production and creative direction were led by PMG.
PMG created a production planning document and storyboard that outlined the timeline, deliverables, detailed shot lists, video scripts, props, instructions for talent and visual inspiration to ensure everyone was on the same page on the day of production. PMG is proud to say that the detailed planning resulted in getting the video footage in just one take! Words can tell a great brand story, but at PMG, we believe what takes the story to the next level are visual assets.
Team Deck Real Estate
BRONZE WINNER: BRANDED CONTENT CAMPAIGN – BUSINESS-TO-CONSUMER
With a progressive approach to real estate, Team Deck is the premier real estate agency in Carmel, Indiana, and one of the top agencies in Central Indiana. The real estate company was founded by Mike Deck, who built Team Deck’s brand with a strong community focus, servicing the Carmel, Westfield, Zionsville, Noblesville and Fishers communities. Mike asked PMG to produce videos that showcased this strong community focus within golf course communities in the surrounding area, including The Bridgewater Club, Chatham Hills, and Holliday Farms while highlighting his approachable, knowledgeable, and experienced team.
Our team, along with the talented Adam Allen, shot an updated Team Deck Brand Video (UVP-focused) along with three community-focused videos, which were narrated by Mike Deck. PMG scripted these narrations ahead of time to ensure the shoot ran smoothly and on schedule. These videos also required professional b-roll elements of all three golf course communities, where Mike Deck acted as the talent to accurately showcase the community’s amenities. PMG ended our last day of filming by securing authentic client testimonials with Mike’s real-life clients. These success stories aimed to accurately show Team Deck’s real estate expertise.
These assets aimed to serve as readily available content for Mike and his team to easily share with their relocation clients through Team Deck’s Vimeo profile. Team Deck also wanted to utilize these assets to refresh their website, social media platforms, marketing materials, media pitching, and more.
BRONZE WINNER: SOCIAL VIDEO – BRANDING
Class 101 helps students and families prepare for college, connecting with students as early as their freshman year of high school to help plan for the future. As new initiatives in 2022, PMG organized an event to honor Class 101’s new building and created evergreen photo and video assets to help share their story through compelling visuals during production shoots.
PMG and preferred videographer Michael Durr supported a photo and video production shoot on-location at Class 101 in Carmel. PMG planned this effort by outlining strategic goals, which included creating lifestyle photography and videography assets which could be used on digital platforms such as social media and websites. PMG outlined the style and feel of the shoot and created a visual color palette which highlighted the Class 101 brand colors. PMG developed a plan for the videography (four videos between 15 and 60 seconds each, as well as a 60 second b-roll video) and shot list for photography to make sure the team worked efficiently through the day. As a result of the day’s efforts, Class 101 was able to secure compelling still pictures and video imagery to use on social media and their digital assets, including the website.
Nicole in Your Neighborhood | Carmel City Center
BRONZE WINNER: NON-BROADCAST – BEAUTY, FASHION + LIFESTYLE
The “Nicole in Your Neighborhood” series highlights local spots in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The segments share what’s unique about the local businesses, what you should know before you go and why you should add it to your list of places to visit here in Indiana.
In 2022, summer shopping at Carmel City Center was the highlighted destination. PMG owner and founder, Nicole Pence Becker, was the on-air talent and PMG also handled writing the content and co-producing the video with the talented Adam Allen of Fierce Little Bird Productions.
From award-winning dining experiences to unlimited retail therapy opportunities and so much more, Nicole shows how each day can be full of unique experiences at the Carmel City Center while you join her as she visits her favorite marketplace of independently owned shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. PMG is proud to promote our city and for this video to be recognized by the Telly Awards!
Nicole Klein MD
BRONZE WINNER: BRANDED CONTENT CAMPAIGN – PROMOTIONAL
Nicole Klein MD is a partner at Otolaryngology & Associates and OA Facial Plastics. Her training as an Otolaryngologist head and neck surgeon allows her to treat patients of all ages and across many different medical concerns. Dr. Klein came to PMG to fully design her brand and create evergreen assets. Through a video production shoot with PMG’s preferred videographer Michael Durr we were able to create a campaign of videos to introduce her capabilities and offerings to prospective and current patients. Dr. Klein uses these videos on her website and Instagram.
Video production was one aspect of Pence Media Group’s partnership with Dr. Klein which also included brand and identity development, branded photography, marketing strategy, website design and development, social media creation and management, and on-going support.
