Lauren Casey Bemis

Lauren Casey Bemis is a passionate storyteller with more than a decade of experience in marketing, communications and local media. She joins Pence Media Group after 11 years on WRTV’s Good Morning Indiana, serving families in central Indiana with a smile as the weekday morning anchor for most of those years. 

The Emmy-nominated journalist is a skilled videographer, editor, writer and public speaker who builds genuine relationships with people in her community. In her time with WRTV, Lauren covered the Indianapolis 500, severe weather outbreaks, police officer funerals, and major interstate construction projects. She helped lead a multi-year, Emmy-nominated station branding project called Hiring Hoosiers, where she and her team worked to tell stories and connect people with job opportunities, career training and resources to improve their lives.  Some of her most meaningful work at WRTV showcased her Hoosier neighbors and their stories of perseverance.

With her extensive background in local media and social media management, Lauren brings a unique perspective to PMG clients looking to share their brand’s story. She leans on her expertise in listening, understanding complicated topics and crafting messages for targeted audiences. She is an experienced storyteller for both television news audiences and also print and digital publications. 

Lauren’s priorities are her family and faith. She married her high school sweetheart, Brooks. They raise their two children just down the road from where they both grew up in the Center Grove community.  She and her husband are proud Franklin College graduates and enjoy running their family’s craft distillery in downtown Franklin.
