Elevating Compassion: PMG Supports Fair Haven’s Mission Through Powerful Storytelling

When Fair Haven Foundation sought to grow the impact of its 13th annual Parisian Market, it turned to Pence Media Group (PMG) for a strategic partnership that would expand visibility, engagement, and community support.

This annual event celebrates community, compassion, and the mission to serve families in medical crisis. Driven by heartfelt generosity, the Parisian Market brings together guests, volunteers, and sponsors to support Fair Haven’s vital work. The event not only raises crucial funds for the Foundation’s free housing but also showcases the power of sharing Christ’s love and hospitality in helping families find comfort and care when they need it most.

Working alongside the Fair Haven Foundation team, PMG developed a multi-pronged approach through public relations outreach, influencer strategy, digital strategy, and on-site social media and media support to bolster public awareness and increase brand engagement with the primary goal to drive attendance to the Parisian Market and engage key stakeholders in Fair Haven’s mission.

 Amplifying Awareness through Public Relations

This campaign fueled year-over-year fundraising growth, raising more than $100,000 and surpassing last year’s total. Through strategic planning, swift execution, and cohesive storytelling, the Fair Haven “Make It Loud” campaign exemplified powerful, results-driven public relations and marketing efforts. In less than a month, the PMG team developed and implemented a comprehensive strategy that amplified awareness across multiple platforms. The plan included a robust public relations approach with grassroots community outreach, event calendar placements, and traditional media coverage through FOX 59, WTHR 13, WISH 8 and WRTV 6, all designed to engage diverse audiences. Outreach resulted in six unique articles and five broadcast clips. The estimated reach (measured in total unique visitors per month for the digital properties where content was shared) exceeded 23.9 million.

To complement these strategies, the team launched an influencer marketing campaign designed to expand visibility and measure meaningful engagement across audiences. Partnering with local lifestyle influencer
@_sixfeetofsunshine, PMG extended the campaign’s visibility through authentic, community-driven storytelling. Her event reel alone generated more than 1,800 views and three hours of watch time, driving meaningful awareness and engagement among her highly engaged local audience. This collaboration not only amplified Fair Haven’s message beyond owned channels but also reinforced the campaign’s grassroots connection to the Indianapolis community.

PMG’s digital strategy involved setting up and tracking referral links to measure results and understand the best channels and mechanisms for engagement, which will help inform next year’s campaign. Overall, web traffic increased by more than 200%, and referral sources accounted for more than 10% of the traffic.

Capturing Moments that Move People

PMG developed and executed a dynamic social media strategy for the event weekend, starting with a content plan that included static posts, reels, and live story sharing that captured the energy of the experience in real time. Preparation and a deep understanding of the organization’s voice and visual identity led to outstanding engagement and visibility throughout these social efforts.

From kickoff to closing day, PMG brought the event to life online, sharing one reel and four posts that captured more than 8,000 views and kept audiences engaged. Throughout the event weekend, PMG shared a series of heartfelt stories capturing the people behind the Parisian Market who humbly return to serve year after year. These stories resonated with audiences and drew thousands of views, resulting in a 160% increase in profile visits! These public relations and marketing efforts came to life through a trusted partnership between PMG and Fair Haven Foundation, working hand in hand to capture the heart, energy, and purpose of the event across every platform.
