Chariot Automotive Group underwent a Pence Media Group Comprehensive Digital Transformation (CDT) to help align its four dealerships under one umbrella, unifying + strengthening its well-known and respected brand.

Chariot Automotive Group is made up of four dealerships, which are located in Kokomo, Lafayette + Tipton. 

Pence Media Group has loved collaborating with our friends at Miwi Marketing and Orange Media Group for the last two years to rebrand Chariot Automotive Group and assist with marketing, communications, PR + more.

 

 

Brand Discovery + Development

Through an in-depth brand discovery session, PMG delved into Chariot Automotive Group’s core values and market positioning. This collaborative journey led to the development of an updated logo, symbolizing a fresh and modern approach while staying true to the group’s heritage. The rebranding effort was intricately aligned with Chariot Automotive Group’s mantra “#DrivenToServe,” which reflects Chariot’s commitment to exceptional service and customer satisfaction. This strategic overhaul not only redefined their visual identity but also strengthened their brand message, ensuring it resonates more profoundly with their clientele and the automotive industry.

After successfully rebranding Chariot, PMG helped implement stunning brand installations and activations into each of its four dealerships. PMG worked closely with the onsite installation team to ensure every detail was executed to perfection.

 

As part of the overall rebranding efforts, PMG also developed brand guidelines for a new initiative driven by the dealerships: Chariot Automotive Institute. The program offers educational and career development opportunities for participants, ranging from high school students to tenured professionals. This brand incorporates elements of the core Chariot Automotive Group brand, aligning its efforts with the dealerships while also differentiating itself as a unique program within it.

Public Relations

PMG played a pivotal role in amplifying Chariot Automotive Group’s (CAG) rebranding success through strategic public relations and earned media efforts, especially in promoting the new Chariot Automotive Institute. 

By effectively communicating the essence and vision of CAG’s Automotive Technician Education Pathway, which is the part of the Chariot Automotive Institute for high school juniors and seniors, the earned media shined a spotlight on the launch of the program. This innovative educational and career development program represents a significant stride in automotive education and industry growth. 

PMG’s adept media engagement and compelling storytelling ensured widespread recognition for these initiatives, reinforcing CAG’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the automotive sector.

Photo + Video Production

PMG is a Telly Award-winning team that takes brands to the next level and we applied our experience and expertise to visually tell the Chariot Automotive Group story. 

The three-day PMG Production Shoot took place at Chariot’s dealerships, capturing video media assets that can be utilized in ongoing branding and marketing efforts. The visuals included the new branding elements which have been installed at each of the dealerships, both inside and outside the buildings. 

PMG-network videographer Tate Kirgiss expertly captured the service, honesty and integrity each customer receives when purchasing a vehicle with Chariot!

Advertising + Influencer Marketing 

At PMG, we work with influencers to create compelling campaigns and manage those campaigns to ensure maximum audience reach while adhering to your brand. For Chariot Automotive Group, our team created and managed an influencer strategy that involved collaborating with Timnah Masariu, (@savvystylemom on Instagram) to create innovative content for the Chariot Automotive brand.

Pence Media Group also supported influencer efforts with Indy 500 winner Tony Kanaan (@tkanaan on Instagram), who made an exciting video showcasing his stellar driving skills after buying a truck from Chariot Automotive Group. 

Through PMG’s partnership with Orange Media Group, PMG has also supported Chariot Automotive Group with trade-specific traditional and digital advertising opportunities.

Event Planning

Over the last two years of our partnership with Chariot Automotive Group, PMG has had the honor of helping the brand execute several community-based events, including blood drives, car seat safety events and celebrations for the dealerships during special anniversaries. Each event was thoughtfully planned to reflect the dealership’s values and commitment to its customers, featuring interactive activities, and opportunities for community members to engage with the brand in a festive, welcoming atmosphere.

To celebrate Chariot Automotive Group’s Button Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership’s 90 years of business, PMG helped execute a celebratory event. The event featured a car show, a silent auction, food trucks, a live band, and a ceremonial ribbon cutting featuring the Kokomo Chamber. Kokomo Mayor Tyler Moore was also in attendance to make a proclamation designating September 9th ‘Button Day’ in honor of Button and Chariot. PMG’s Nicole Pence Becker emceed the event.

PMG was honored to help CAG celebrate its flagship dealership this past September by executing a special event where civic and business leaders could come onsite with McGonigal employees to mark 95 years, which included a ceremonial ribbon-cutting + proclamation. Once again, PMG’s owner Nicole Pence Becker had the honor of emceeing this special event.
